MyEPO Portfolio for parties to proceedings before the EPO
Today sees the launch of MyEPO Portfolio, a new service for parties to proceedings before the EPO. Formerly referred to as the "user area", it is accessible from the MyEPO area of our website to holders of a registered smart card.
MyEPO Portfolio provides you with a fresh approach to working online with us on your applications and patents. It allows you to view your application portfolio and documents, access your EPO Mailbox, perform various tasks and file procedural requests in response to communications from the EPO.
The service provides improved access and enables the exchange of digital information. It also provides enhanced procedural guidance and simplified procedures.
Today's official launch follows a seven-month pilot phase with 180 participants from industry and patent attorney firms.
We have drawn on feedback from user focus groups and pilot phase participants to prepare this first release. New features will be added over time, and we look forward to continuing to work with users to shape the future of this service.
