Proud to walk together in The Hague
The EPO once again took part in the Pride Walk in The Hague, with more than 40 members of the EPO Rainbow Group joined by families, friends and allies. This year’s participation marked the second consecutive year in which the Office has joined the event. This was an opportunity for colleagues to celebrate their support of our LGBTQ+ community and for the Office to demonstrate its continued commitment to D&I initiatives. The walk brought together thousands of participants from across the city in a visible demonstration of solidarity and equality.
Pride is also a moment of reflection and advocacy. Taking place in the context of the wider Pride The Hague programme and close to the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the event served as an important reminder of the need to continue promoting inclusion and standing against discrimination. The EPO Rainbow Group warmly invites colleagues, friends and allies to join Vienna Pride on 13 June and Munich Pride on 27 June.
