Solidarity with Spain after severe flooding

We are deeply saddened by the news of casualties and widespread destruction caused by severe flooding in Spain, particularly in the Valencia region.

As a sign of solidarity, the EPO will fly the European Patent Organisation and Spanish flags at half-mast in Munich and The Hague from Thursday, 31 October to Saturday, 2 November. This coincides with the three days of national mourning in Spain.

Our thoughts are with all the victims and their families at this difficult time.
