Solidarity with Switzerland after deadly fire in Crans-Montana

We are deeply saddened by the news of the deadly fire that broke out during New Year celebrations in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

As a sign of solidarity, the EPO will fly the European Patent Organisation and Swiss flags at half-mast in Munich and The Hague on Friday 9 January, to coincide with a national day of mourning in Switzerland. A letter of condolence has also been sent to the Swiss delegation to the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation.

Our thoughts are with all the victims, their families and loved ones at this difficult time.
