Ever thought of applying for a research grant from the EPO's Academic Research Programme (ARP)? On 11 and 12 July 2023, between 09.30 and 12.30 hrs CEST, beneficiaries of the ARP will report on the progress of their research and receive questions and feedback from EPO experts.
For the first time, the workshop will be open to the public. This is a unique opportunity to get an insight into the schemes currently running under the ARP and to find out how the programme works. Amongst many other relevant topics, you will find out, for example, how the researchers explore innovation ecosystems and overcome limitations of Boolean searching by using AI for data retrieval and classification. Don't miss it!
Registration for the EPO Academic Research Programme workshop is open until 9 July 2023.

The launch of the Unitary Patent system on 1 June 2023 means the Register for Unitary Patent Protection (UP Register) is now fully integrated into the European Patent Register.
If UP-related data for a European Patent is available in the Register, the new Unitary Patent chapter with three UP views now appears in the navigation bar.
