How are the international search report (ISR) and the written opinion (WO/ISA) made available to me if I select the EPO as ISA?

The ISR and WO-ISA will be made available electronically via the EPO Mailbox and can be accessed via MyEPO Portfolio or the existing Mailbox service for European professional representatives, legal practitioners entitled to act in proceedings under Article 134(8) EPC and parties who have their residence or place of business in an EPC contracting state. International agents and applicants who do not have their residence or principal place of business in an EPC contracting state but are entitled to act before the EPO in PCT international phase proceedings can use the PCT link to register for electronic notification via Mailbox to receive communications from the EPO in the international phase where it acts as (S)ISA or IPEA. You can consult the dedicated FAQ on the EPO website for more information on the EPO Mailbox/MyEPO services.

Otherwise, by default, the EPO will send you the ISR (including the cited documents) and WO-ISA by post, in which case you can get an electronic copy of the ISR (without the cited documents) and WO-ISA via WIPO's ePCT service if you have an account. With ePCT, you can request access rights to an international application after filing (i.e. claim eOwnership of your files to access file wrapper data, including the EPO's search report).

It is not possible for you to receive the notifications relating to the international search performed by the EPO via the CNIPA's CE-PCT system.
