What data is published in the searchable database of professional representatives on the EPO website and how do I update my details?
Our searchable database of professional representatives comprises a standardised set of data for each registered professional representative (OJ EPO 2024, A109), namely:
last name and first name(s)
representative number
full postal address of place of business or employment
dates of entry (and re-entry, where applicable)
date of deletion (where applicable, displayed for five years following deletion)
telecommunication details (email address, telephone number and web address), if the professional representative has provided them and consented to their publication
The enhanced and more complete database replaces the monthly publication in the Official Journal of the EPO of the changes to the list of professional representatives
As a professional representative, you can manage your data via the representative area in MyEPO, as part of the online MyEPO services. You can edit your telecommunication details or submit a request that we update your name or postal address for you. For technical reasons, please don't edit your telecommunication details on the same day as making a request to have your name or postal address updated by us.
