My automatic debit order was rejected. What do I do now?

You can check the status of your automatic debit order in Central Fee Payment, under Automatic debiting management, Request/revocation history. Automatic debit orders with the status ‘failed’ have not been accepted. The error message provides the reason for the rejection of the automatic debit order.

To be able to successfully file your automatic debit order, you may need to revoke the existing automatic debit order noted in the error message. If you did not submit this conflicting automatic debit order, please check the European patent register to identify the requestor and contact them to resolve the situation.
