What should I do if I change company?
If your email address will change when you change company, you should go to the EPO account settings page and update the email address associated with your EPO account.
If your phone number will change and you used it as a means of second-factor authentication, then you should update the second-factor authentication methods in the EPO account settings page so they don't use your old phone number.
Next, ask the MyEPO administrator for your old company to remove you as a member of the company. They can do this in the Admin area of MyEPO.
Once you have been removed, sign in to MyEPO and update your account with details of the new company you are joining.
Finally, ask the MyEPO administrator for your new company to accept you as a member of the company and grant you access rights to MyEPO services as necessary. Again, they can do this in the Admin area of MyEPO.
Remember:
- your EPO account will always be accessible as long as you remember the email address and password for your EPO account, and set up a second-factor authentication method that remains stable after you change company (for example, using a personal phone number).
- consider setting up at least two backup methods for two-factor authentication, to reduce the risk of losing access if one of them no longer works.
