How do I claim an EPO fee refund?

Short answer: you must claim the refund in Central Fee Payment unless you submitted refund instructions in Online Filing 2.0.

How it works:

• If you submitted refund instructions in Online Filing 2.0, the refund will be credited directly to the nominated deposit account.
• If you did not submit refund instructions, you must claim the refund in Central Fee Payment after receiving a notification letter from the EPO.
