What is the Federated Register?

The Federated Register is a service that provides a snapshot of the data on the legal status of a European patent with unitary effect in the member states covered by Unitary Patent Protection and that of a conventional EP patent in the designated contracting, extension and validation states – in a single overview. The validation states and extension states are listed by their country codes below the table overview. Most country codes have deep links to the corresponding record in the national patent register so you can access the legal status information at source for legal certainty.
