For these reasons it is decided that:
The decision under appeal is set aside.
The case is remitted to the Opposition Division with the order to maintain the European patent on the basis of Claims 1-26 of Set M (pages 1-5 annexed to the Minutes of the oral proceedings of 20 May 2008) after any necessary consequential amendment of the description.
