For these reasons it is decided that:

2. The case is remitted to the first instance with the order to maintain the patent in amended form as follows:
- claims 1 to 13 of the patent as granted,
- claim 14 as presented during the oral proceedings of 1 October 1998, and
- description and drawings as granted.
