Don’t miss two essential lectures covering patent families and INPADOC legal event codes from Asia

A thorough search increases your chance of obtaining a patent by revealing all related patents and applications. In our first lecture, we will introduce the concept of patent families and explain how the EPO uses them in Espacenet and other products or services. Through examples and case studies, you will learn how patent families are created, and how to interpret them effectively for your research.

In our second lecture, we will delve into the growing importance of monitoring the INPADOC legal status of patent applications from Asia. You will explore the INPADOC legal event database, stay informed about patent law changes across Asian jurisdictions, and learn how these changes are reflected in the INPADOC legal event database.
