The IPO Education Foundation & EPO Day Conference will take place at the EPO in Munich on 14 November 2017.
The Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) Education Foundation, in cooperation with the European Patent Office, developed a programme that will bring together experts from the EPO and private practice to discuss and share perspectives on current developments. The objective is to present high quality education and to promote continuing government-private sector dialogue.
The one-day event, which is primarily aimed at patent professionals who practice in Europe, will feature Plenary Sessions on Unitary Patent, Harmonization, and the Boards of Appeal. There will also be two groups of concurrent workshops, led by teams of practitioners and EPO representatives. Workshop topics include Search, Workability/Sufficiency, Patenting Computer-Implemented Inventions, Amendments and Disclaimers, and Clarity.
Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunities to discuss current and future developments with EPO experts.
We recommend that you register as soon as possible; places for the hands-on workshops in particular are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The closing date for registration is 10 November 2017.
We look forward to welcoming you in Munich.
