Knowledge cafés

Leider ist diese Seite derzeit nicht in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.

A knowledge café is a 90-minute open discussion forum. While classic workshops at Examination Matters have been traditionally run as frontal presentations interspersed or followed by exercises or question and answer sessions, workshops in the knowldge café format give participants the stage. Presentations by the speakers are limited to a minimum, as his or her role becomes that of introducing the subject-matter, offering some examples and moderating a discussion where all participants can contribute their experience on practical cases.

  • You can join the discussion at one of the four knowledge cafés held in parallel with other workshops.
  • Each session can host a maximim number of guests, in order to keep the sessions as engaging as possible. Admission therefore is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions and examples to be discussed.
  • We will adhere to the Chatham House Rule to encourage an open exchange of thoughts.

The knowledge cafés offered are:

  • WS05 Knowledge café: Inside the mind of the opposition division
  • WS06 Knowledge café: How to overcome claritiy issues efficiently
  • WS07 Knowledge café: Multiple auxiliary requests in opposition proceedings
  • WS14 Knowledge café: Applications in cloud computing and related technologies
