Because we ask everybody who downloads the IP Teaching Kit to provide details about themselves, so that we can inform them about additions and updates, we recommend that users download the kit themselves from our website.

May I use the IP Teaching Kit for teaching outside my college/university?

Yes, provided it is for non-commercial purposes.

Is the IP Teaching Kit suitable for students of different national and educational backgrounds?

Yes, the kit has been designed as a general introduction to IP suitable for students of different national and educational backgrounds.

What languages is the IP Teaching Kit available in?

IP Basics is available in English, French and German on the EPO website. The Spanish and Italian version can be found on the EUIPO website. The other parts of the IP Teaching Kit are in English only.

Is there a paper edition of the IP Teaching Kit?

No, the IP Teaching Kit is not available in paper format.

May I translate one or more of the teaching kits into my language?

Yes, but you must clearly state that your translation has not been authorised by the EPO, and that the EPO is not responsible for its correctness. You must also remove any other references to the EPO, in particular its official logo.
