Substantive patent law harmonisation
The Tegernsee process 2011 - 2015
In 2011, the "Tegernsee Group" was created, composed of Heads of delegations and representatives of Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, UK, the USA and the EPO, and mandated to engage in strict fact-finding on key harmonisation issues so as to provide substance for future evidence-based policy discussions.
Group B+ From 2015 onwards
The Group B+ was established to promote and facilitate progress on key issues under consideration at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and in particular to move forward on substantive patent law harmonisation.
