The European Patent Office is holding a seminar on patenting information and communication technologies (ICT) on 29 November in Stockholm.
The event will focus on patentability issues and major aspects of filing and prosecuting ICT-related patent applications at the EPO and will include workshops on:
Each workshop will be chaired by an EPO expert and a European patent attorney or IP expert with knowledge and experience of patenting in the field of lCT.
Plenary sessions will address the patenting of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer-implemented inventions (CII) and will offer an update on the latest developments at the EPO in areas including quality, timeliness and searching Asian documentation.
This high-level event is being organised in collaboration with the Swedish Patent and Registration Office, (PRV).
The seminar will be of interest to patent attorneys, in particular those working in the field of ICT.
