In 2022 the
Award took viewers on a journey through the world of inventing, casting a
spotlight on the ideas and the individuals shaping a brighter future. The
finalists included a professional musician whose new career hits all the right
notes, clinicians combatting cancer, the robotics expert whose patients are
taking a critical step towards healthier lives, young inventors helping us
achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and a Lifetime achievement
laurate whose work may have saved millions of lives. You can re-live the
moment, enter the world of inventing once more and watch the recording on inventoraward.org.
If you know of
an inventor who has a trophy winning idea, why not nominate them for a European
Inventor Award or Young Inventors prize in 2023? The nomination form is now
live and you may submit a proposal on or before Monday, 3 October 2022.
