The EPO welcomed the adoption by the European Parliament in Strasbourg today of two draft regulations on the creation of the unitary patent, hailing it as a historic achievement.

Les dirigeants de l'Office européen des brevets (OEB), de l'Office des brevets du Japon (JPO) et de l'Office des brevets et des marques des Etats-Unis (USPTO) se sont réunis cette semaine à Kyoto (Japon) pour la 30e Conférence tripartite annuelle et ont signé une déclaration dans laquelle ils s'engagent à poursuivre le développement des systèmes de brevets dans le monde, grâce à un meilleur partage du travail.
