Le Conseil a traité un certain nombre de questions concernant le personnel supérieur et les chambres de recours. En particulier, le Conseil s'est penché sur les dispositions en matière disciplinaire qui sont applicables au personnel supérieur nommé par le Conseil au titre de l'article 11(1), (2) et (3) CBE et, compte tenu de ses obligations découlant de l'article 11(4) CBE, est convenu d'établir une Commission de discipline du Conseil.

Nouveau projet visant à améliorer la sécurité juridique en rapport avec les demandes en instance

IP5 Heads of Office meeting in Busan: move towards public access to patent information

The IP5 heads agreed to increase the quality of the patent documentation, promote public access to "file wrapper" information at the IP5 level, start work on patent harmonization, launch the update of the IP5 website and collaborate on the development of the Patent Cooperation Treaty system.

Training Centre for European patent judges opened in Budapest

A dedicated Training Centre for the Unified Patent Court was officially opened today in Budapest. The centre will function as a coordinating office for the training of judges and candidate judges of the new court system which, together with the unitary patent, is expected to start operating in 2015.

Plus de 265 000 demandes de brevet reçues en 2013

L'OEB a enregistré plus de 265 000 demandes de brevet en 2013, ce qui représente une hausse de 2,8 % par rapport à 2012 (257 700 demandes), et marque un nouveau record historique. L'année dernière, à l'issue d'une procédure de recherche et d'examen de grande qualité, l'OEB a délivré et publié 66 700 brevets, soit 1,7 % de plus qu'en 2012 (65 600).
