Korea: Customer satisfaction survey on KPA, 7-25 November 2016

Users of Korean patent information are again invited to participate in a customer satisfaction survey on the Korean Patent Abstracts (KPA). The survey is conducted by the Korea Institute of Patent Information (KIPI) from 7 to 25 November 2016.

In the survey, users can specify for what purposes they are using the KPA (e.g. searching prior art, finding solutions for technical problems etc.) or which production method they prefer for the abstracts. Currently, KPA are produced as English translations of the original Korean abstract submitted by the applicant. Before, they were newly created by experts in the respective technical field who read the complete document and produced a short English summary of the content.  

According to KIPI, all answers to the survey will be treated confidentially.
