Accessing court decisions on patents across Europe with ECLI
The European Case Law Identifier (ECLI) sitemap makes it easier to access and reference decisions of the EPO’s boards of appeal.
ECLI is a human-readable and machine-processable code that can be assigned to decisions from any national or European court. It is a unique identifier that can be used to search six million decisions from a multitude of jurisdictions across Europe via the European e-Justice Portal. The EPO offers a dedicated sitemap referencing all EPO board of appeal decisions.
The sitemap for EPO board of appeal decisions is updated daily. It can be downloaded free-of-charge.
