1.1 Formal requirements 

The formal requirements that an application has to meet are the subject of an examination by the Receiving Section. These requirements relate to the following:

(i)representation; 

(ii)signature 

(iii)physical requirements of the application; 

(iv)abstract; 

(v)request for grant; 

(vi)claim to priority; 

(vii)designation of inventor; 

(viii)translations, where required; 

(ix)the presence of at least one claim; 

(x)filing and search fees
