Entscheidungsformel
Aus diesen Gründen wird entschieden:
1. Die angefochtene Entscheidung wird aufgehoben.
2. Die Angelegenheit wird an die erste Instanz mit der Anordnung zurückverwiesen, das Patent in geänderter Fassung gemäß Ansprüche 1 bis 10 des Hilfsantrags 2 (jetzt Hauptantrag, eingereicht mit der Beschwerdebegründung) und einer noch anzupassenden Beschreibung aufrechtzuerhalten.
