Aus diesen Gründen wird entschieden:
1. Die angefochtene Entscheidung wird aufgehoben.
2. Die Angelegenheit wird an die Einspruchsabteilung zurückverwiesen mit der Anordnung, das Patent in geändertem Umfang in folgender Fassung aufrechtzuerhalten:
