    2.2.7.1. Format

    The translation should be drawn up in a form enabling it to be publisheddisseminated, i.e. it should be typewritten or printed (Art. 6(2) Regulation (EU) No 1260/2012; Rule 20(2)(c) UPR in conjunction with Rule 50(2) EPC)., which applies mutatis mutandis pursuant to Rule 20(2)(c) UPR

    The requirements under Rule 50(2) EPC for the presentation of the translation in European patent proceedings apply mutatis mutandis to Unitary Patent proceedings pursuant to Rule 20(2)(c) UPR (see the decision of the President of the EPO dated 25 November 2022 (OJ EPO 2022, A113)).
