    7.1.  General

    Rights and the transfer of rights relating to Unitary Patents are registered at the request of an interested party in the Register for unitary patent protection UP Register by the UPP Division (Rule 20(2)(b) UPR in conjunction with Rules 22 to 24 EPC, which apply mutatis mutandis pursuant to Rule 20(2)(b) UPR; Rule 16(1)(j) UPR).

    Changes to the particulars of the proprietors are also recorded in the Register for unitary patent protection UP Register by the UPP Division, in accordance with Rule 16(1)(j) UPR.
