EUROPEAN PATENT ORGANISATION
RESOLUTION ON MUTUAL INFORMATION
THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE CONTRACTING STATES TO THE EUROPEAN PATENT CONVENTION,
On the occasion of signature of the Act revising Article 63 of the Convention,
DESIRING to preserve and promote the unitary nature of European patent law,
DESIROUS of an agreed procedure for the issue of provisions under Article 63, paragraph 2(b), of the Convention as revised,
AGREE that any Contracting State using, or intending to make use of, Article 63, paragraph 2(b), of the European Patent Convention shall inform the European Patent Organisation of the conditions and duration of any extension of the term of European patents or of a corresponding protection, in order to permit an exchange of views within the Administrative Council of the Organisation.
