INFORMATION FROM THE EPO
Notice from the editorial staff of the Official Journal
At the suggestion of numerous users of the Official Journal, the EPO will henceforward be publishing together with selected technical decisions of the Boards of Appeal additional information relating to the applications and patents in question.
In the case of applications, this will comprise the most important bibliographic data, the abstract and the drawing, if any, which best characterises the invention and, in the case of granted patents, the most important bibliographic data and the aforementioned drawing.
The additional material will be published in the language of proceedings, preferably between the headnote and the summary of facts and submissions or in the first part of the latter. It is for information only and is not an integral part of the decision.
