Filing of documents by facsimile
The UK Patent Office has introduced, with effect from 11 May 1992, a facility whereby patent applications and other documents may be filed by facsimile transmission. The facility will operate on a pilot basis. European patent applications may now also be filed by facsimile with the UK Patent Office.*
