1. Members of the Examination Board and Examination Committees
1.1 Members of the Examination Board
The terms of office of the following members expired on 30 November 1992: Mrs B. Günzel (DE), Messrs J.-F. Léger (CH) and R.C. Petersen (GB); Mr P. Herzog's (LU) term of office will expire on 31 January 1993.
The President of the European Patent Office has appointed as members of the Examination Board:
- on a proposal from the President of the Council of the Institute of Professional Representatives Messrs J.-F. Léger and R.C. Petersen for a further term of office;
- Mrs B. Günzel for a further term of office; Mrs L. Dybdahl Österborg (DK) will be a member of the Examination Board with effect from 1 February 1993.
The term of office of these members will expire on 30 November 1996.
1.2 Members of the Examination Committees
The term of office of Mr J. Combeau (FR), Mrs B. Molac (FR) and Mr R.C. Petersen as Chairmen of Examination Committees I, II and III respectively expired on 30 November 1992. The Examination Board has reappointed these members as Chairmen of these Examination Committees. The term of office will expire on 31 October 1994.
Upon expiry of their terms of office, Mr K.-H. Meyer-Dulheuer (DE) has been reappointed with effect from 1 October 1992, Mrs M. Linderoth (SE) and Messrs E. Christiansen (DK), D. David (FR), F. Ibanez (ES), L. Nuss (FR), P. Rostovanyi (SE), H.-J. Rudolph (DE) with effect from 1 November 1992, Messrs I. Koch (DE), M. Ruggiu (IT), J. van Geyt (BE) with effect from 1 December 1992 and Messrs P. Michel (GB), I. Muir (GB) with effect from 1 January 1993. Mr H.-J. Rudolph's term of office will expire on 31 October 1993; the term of office for the other members will expire on 31 October 1994.
Messrs P. Güthlein (DE) and T. Ström (SE) ceased to be members of an examination committee on 31 October 1992.
The Examination Board has appointed Mrs I. Pielka (GB) and Mr H.-J. Fischer (DE) with effect from 1 November 1992 as members of one of the three examination committees; their term of office will expire on 31 October 1994.
