Poland has notified WIPO of the withdrawal of the declaration under Article 64(2)(a)(i) PCT which it made when acceding to the PCT (see OJ EPO 1991, 461).
As a result, with effect from 1 March 1994, the furnishing of a translation of the international application into Polish within the time limit under Article 22 PCT will no longer be required where the applicant avails himself of Chapter II PCT within the period of 19 months from the priority date of the international application.
