Preparation for the European Qualifying Examination
EPI Tutorial 1994
As every year EPI offers a preparatory course (Tutorial) for the European Qualifying Examination.
The tutorial prepares the candidates who will be sitting the European Qualifying Examination in 1995. Examination papers A, B, C and D of the year 1993 will be considered. The papers are available in German, English or French according to the wish of the candidate. The candidates are assigned to one or two of the nearest available tutors working in the same technical field.
This tutorial is a trial examination. The candidates work at home but should work under examination conditions (documents, time, etc.) as far as possible. They are asked to submit their solutions to their tutor(s) by 1 October 1994. The tutors arrange for a joint meeting with six to eight candidates to discuss the answers.
The tuition fee is DEM 450 for the preparation covering all four examination papers and DEM 350 for the tuition in only two examination papers. The fee charged to the candidates exclusively covers the EPI administrative and travelling costs for the tutors. The tutors are not paid for their time and work.
Candidates who wish to participate in these tutorials are invited to notify the EPI General Secretariat as soon as possible but no later than 29 April 1994.
