Free subscriptions to the European Patent Register Online
Readers are reminded that there is no longer any annual subscription charge for use of the European Patent Register Online.
The old system, whereby an annual fee of DEM 250 had to be paid for use of the Register1, has been abolished. Users are only required to pay for each search done in the Register, the price being set at DEM 2.50 per enquiry.
Moreover, the Register was considerably extended in 1993 and now contains much more information than previously about the legal status of European and PCT patent applications.
New users are invited to use the Register for one month totally free of charge. To obtain a password for this free trial of the Register, please write to:
