Professional representatives' changes of address are normally published in the Official Journal. In the second half of 1993, however, over 4 000 entries changed, partly because of the new post codes introduced in Germany and partly following the questionnaire issued by the EPO (Dir. 5.1.1) to check that addresses, telephone and fax numbers were correct and to trim this information down for computerisation purposes. All the resulting amendments have been incorporated in the 15th (1994) edition of the directory of professional representatives, which is available free of charge from the EPO's Vienna sub-office. They will not therefore be published in the Official Journal unless significant parts of the address itself have changed. Should it however transpire that a significant part of the address as given in the directory is incorrect, the necessary amendment will be published in the Official Journal as in the past.
