Notice from the President of the European Patent Office dated 23 October 1994 concerning the extension of time limits under Rule 85 EPC
1. In Portugal there has been a general interruption in the delivery of mail within the meaning of Rule 85(2) EPC. This interruption and the subsequent dislocation in postal services lasted from 19 to 22 September 1994.
2. For parties whose residence or principal place of business is in Portugal and for professional representatives based there, EPO time limits which would have expired during the period 19 to 22 September 1994 are therefore extended to 23 September 1994.
3. Rule 82.2 PCT remains unaffected.
