INFORMATION FROM THE EPO
Notice from the European Patent Office dated 6 December 1994 concerning revised EPO Form 1140 - Request for the furnishing of samples of deposited microorganisms
With reference to Section III of the notice from the EPO dated 18 July 1986 (OJ EPO 1986, 273), notification is hereby given that EPO Form 1140 has been reprinted (Form 1140 07.93). A single form may now be used to request samples of microorganisms deposited under the Budapest Treaty or under bilateral agreements. The old EPO Forms 1140 and 1140a are therefore no longer being used.
No amendments have been made to EPO Form 1141 (Declaration for the purpose of obtaining a sample of a deposited microorganism) or EPO Form 1142 (Request for a deposited microorganism to be made available by issuing a sample to an expert).
