    New fee rates

    By Ministerial Order of 20 December 19941 some fees of the Institut national de la propriété industrielle have been amended.

    Applicants and proprietors of European patents with effect in France are advised that from 1 January 1995 the following rates apply:

    Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:

    Filing fee: FRF 250 + FRF 115 for the 11th and each subsequent claim (unchanged)

    Fee for a report on the state of the art:
    FRF 4 500

    Production and transmission of copies of the European patent application to the designated States:

    FRF165 (unchanged) + FRF 5 (unchanged) per page and copy.

    Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"

    Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (9th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendment to the amount of fees shown in Table VII, column 2.
