New fee rates
By Regulation on Fees of the Federal Intellectual Property Institute of 25 October 19951 the patent fees in Switzerland have been amended.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Switzerland are advised that from 1 January 1996 the following rates apply:
1. Renewal fees:

2. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
Filing fee: CHF 200
Claims fee for the 11th and each subsequent claim : CHF 50
3. Registering a transfer, licences and other rights:
CHF 100, plus CHF 50 for each additional patent
Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (9th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables VI, columns 1 and 3, VII, column 2, and IX, column 4.
