Notice from the President of the European Patent Office dated 16 February 1996 concerning the extension of time limits under Rule 85 EPC
1. In France there has been a general interruption in the delivery of mail within the meaning of Rule 85(2) EPC. This interruption and the subsequent dislocation in postal services lasted from 24 November 1995 to 17 December 1995.
2. For parties whose residence or principal place of business is in France and for professional representatives based there, EPO time limits which would have expired during the period 24 November 1995 to 17 December 1995 are therefore extended to 18 December 1995.
3. Rule 82.2 PCT remains unaffected.
