Notice of the President of the European Patent Office dated 14 January 1997 concerning the extension of time limits according to Rule 85 EPC
1. There has been a general interruption in the delivery of mail in the United Kingdom within the meaning of Rule 85, paragraph 2, EPC.
The interruption and subsequent dislocation lasted from 21 June 1996 until 28 September 1996.
2. In the case of parties having their domicile or principal place of business in the United Kingdom or who have appointed representatives having their place of business in the United Kingdom, time limits expiring in the period from 21 June 1996 until 28 September 1996 have been extended to Monday 30th September 1996 pursuant to Rule 85, paragraphs 2 and 3, EPC.
