    Disciplinary matters

    Appointment of members of the Disciplinary Board of the European Patent Office

    1. Under Article 9 of the Regulation on discipline for professional representatives (OJ EPO 1978, 91 ff), the President of the European Patent Office has reappointed the following legally qualified member of the European Patent Office as a member of the Disciplinary Board for a three-year term:

    Mr R. Cramer, with effect from 1 June 1997.

    2. He has also appointed the following legally qualified member of the European Patent Office as a member of the Disciplinary Board and as its chairman, succeeding Mr B.I. Cawthra, who is leaving the Board:

    Mr D. Bernecker, with effect from 31 May 1997.

    3. The Board thus comprises six legally qualified members of the European Patent Office, namely Messrs D. Bernecker (chairman), R. Cramer, C. Matthies, G. Weiss and H. Zaaiman, and Ms T. Karamanli, and four members of the Institute of Professional Representatives, namely Messrs E.W.B. Lyndon-Stanford, M. Ruff, M. Santarelli and

    C.- A. Wavre.
