New fee rates for renewal fees
By Regulation on Fees of the Federal Intellectual Property Institute of 11 August 19991 the patent fees in Switzerland have been reduced.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Switzerland are advised that from 1 January 2000 the following rates for renewal fees apply:
from the 5th year from date of filing up to the 20th year from date of filing, for each year CHF 420
The reduced fee on pre-payment of the renewal fees has been abolished. All other fees remain unchanged and are published in the EPO information brochure "National Law relating to the EPC" (11th edition - 1999).
