Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 21 January 1999 concerning the publication of a revised version of the Arrangements for deposit accounts and their annexes

The President of the European Patent Office,

having regard to Articles 5(2) and 8(2) of the Rules relating to Fees,

Has decided as follows:

1. Revision and publication of the Arrangements for deposit accounts and their annexes

The Arrangements for deposit accounts and their annexes are herewith revised and published in this Supplement1.

2. Previous provisions and decisions superseded

The Arrangements for deposit accounts dated 20 November 1981 (OJ EPO 1982, 15) and the amendments thereto shown below are herewith superseded:

  • Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 31 July 1987 amending the Arrangements for deposit accounts (OJ EPO 1987, 376) and Notice of the President of the European Patent Office dated 31 July 1987 concerning the Arrangements governing the use of magnetic tapes for debiting deposit accounts (OJ EPO 1987, 377),
  • Article 3 of the Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 10 December 1990 amending the Arrangements for deposit accounts (Supplement to OJ EPO 12/1990, 7),
  • Decision of the President of the European Patent Office of 5 April 1993 amending the Arrangements for deposit accounts (OJ EPO 1993, 366), Administrative Agreement dated 5 April 1993 between the EPO and the epi (OJ EPO 1993, 367) and Notice re debiting of epi annual subscriptions from deposit accounts held with the EPO (OJ EPO 1993, 397),
  • Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 25 April 1994 amending the arrangements for deposit accounts (Supplement to OJ EPO 6/1994, 1), Arrangements for the automatic debiting procedure dated 25 April 1994 (Supplement to OJ EPO 6/1994, 3) and Information from the EPO concerning the automatic debiting procedure (Supplement to OJ EPO 6/1994, 11),
  • Article 2 of the Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 7 January 1999 amending the Arrangements for deposit accounts and their annexes (OJ EPO 1999, 42).

3. Entry into force

This decision shall enter into force on 2 March 1999.
