Decision of the Administrative Council of 24 February 2000 convening a conference of the contracting states to revise the European Patent Convention
THE ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT ORGANISATION,
Having regard to the European Patent Convention, and in particular Article 172(2), first sentence, thereof,
On a proposal from the President of the European Patent Office,
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
1. A conference of the contracting states shall be convened to revise the European Patent Convention. The conference shall be held from 20 to 29 November 2000 at the seat of the European Patent Organisation in Munich.
2. The revision conference shall be prepared by means of a basic proposal adopted by the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation.
3. The chairman of the Administrative Council shall take the measures necessary to implement this decision and shall lay down the draft conference agenda.
Article 2
This decision shall enter into force on 24 February 2000.
