    Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 9 June 2000 concerning the publication of European patent applications

    The President of the European Patent Office, having regard to Rule 49(1) EPC, has decided as follows:

    Article 1

    Form of publication of European patent applications

    European patent applications which, on filing, contain a sequence listing or consist of more than four hundred pages may be published in electronic form only, at present for example on esp@cenet® and ESPACE® EP CD-ROM. On request, the European Patent Office shall also make them available on another suitable medium.

    Article 2

    Entry into force

    This decision shall enter into force on 9 June 2000. It shall apply to all European patent applications not yet published on that date.
