Bank accounts in Spain
As a result of the merger of the Spanish banks Banca Exterior (BEX) and Argentaria (formerly Caja Postal) to form the new Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), the Office now holds two accounts with the same financial institution.
For simplicity's sake, the European Patent Office has decided to keep just one account, 0182-5906-88-029-0348002, with the BBVA from 1 August 2001.
Applicants are requested to make future payments to the above account only.
