INFORMATION FROM THE EPO
Publication of advertisements in the EPO Official Journal
The following changes will apply to advertisements placed in EPO Official Journal No. 1/2004 and subsequent issues:
1. Payment
In future, the invoicing of advertisements will be handled by the EPO sub-office in Vienna.
Advertisements may be paid for by credit card, cheque, debit from a deposit account with the EPO (see supplement to OJ EPO No. 2/2002) or transfer to any of the accounts stated on the invoice. The EPO accepts EUROCARD (MasterCard) and VISA cards. For debit payments, please quote the number of the deposit account with the EPO; if paying by credit card, please quote the card type, number and expiry date. As the EPO does not charge VAT for advertisements, a VAT registration number is no longer required.
2. Prices
Advertisement prices, which have not changed for over 20 years, are being adjusted to reflect partially the price increases over this period. Advertisements published in No. 1/2004 and subsequent issues will now cost:
1/1 page | EUR 1 500 |
1/2 page | EUR 750 |
1/4 page | EUR 375 |
The formats 1/8 page portrait and 1/8 page landscape will no longer be offered owing to lack of demand.
